Welcome in summer with an alfresco picnic……
As the days draw longer, the nights less cold and the lambs turn into sheep, the season changes from spring to summer. We spend time with our families, take time to unwind, and swap our beanies for sunscreen.
Whilst we want to make use of the abundance of fresh produce in this season, convenience is also key to having an enjoyable and relaxed time with family and friends. When heading out for a picnic or low-key entertaining, it seems easiest to grill pre-cooked foods or rely on convenience from packets. However, the key to incorporating a balance of flavours and ingredients lies in the fresh produce made available by the warmer weather and keeping things simple.
