How To Make Guacamole Three Days Ahead

How To Make Guacamole Three Days Ahead

Everyone wants to know how to keep guacamole, so it doesn’t have to be done at the last minute!!

Mrs Gusto Tip: Always use Hass avocados, they work the best for this.

Make guacamole: –

Add 2 tbsp lime juice and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a plastic bowl that has a fitted lid and leave until salt dissolves. Add in 2 ripe avocados, 1/2 fresh jalapeño, finely diced, 1 whole spring onion/scallion, finely diced, and mash to desired consistency.

Smooth the top and carefully pour over 2-4 tablespoons lukewarm water until the top is fully covered by 2cm/3/4in. Seal with lid and refrigerate. When ready to use, carefully pour water off and stir. Taste and add more seasoning or lime juice if needed.

You can also use this method to store leftover guacamole.
