A long plain timber tray, topped with various heights of glass vases and white vases. Use some greenery and balance out with pastel coloured flowers. Cut the stems short and keep the heads of the flowers all in a cluster.

We used a white table cloth and a charcoal table runner. Charcoal charger plates and white dinner plates continue the simple but elegant style, and the triangle-fold striped napkins add interest and height.

Keep serving ware either black or white. Add wine glasses at each place setting.
