Pack the snacks all ready to eat at the gathering spot!
To-Go Grazing Box
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Start with a cardboard box with a lid, and line with some nice, patterned baking/parchment paper. Choose a size that relates well to the amount of people you are catering for.
-
Select 2 or 3 types of cheese and place in the box in a triangle shape with lots of space around them. For soft cheeses, such as brie or camembert, it can be nice to make a small ‘trivet’ by placing it on patterned paper and scrunching the excess paper around the cheese to create a little basket for it.
-
Next, place some premium crackers in a couple of places in the box making sure they are stacked nicely and easy to get at.
-
Now set a bunch of washed grapes or other fruit such as cherries or strawberries in a small pile. For a larger group, do several piles to create visual interest, rather than just one large pile.
-
Add some meat such as salami or prosciutto close to the cheese. Again, add more than one section of meat for a large group of people.
-
Add a little jar of chutney or dip.
-
Bring along the knives for cutting the cheese and the spoons for the chutney/dip, put these in place at the picnic and enjoy your day out, having done all the prep work ahead!

User Reviews
Such a great idea, we have used this numerous times, when heading for an outing, snack tray done, can pick on the way, and no half empty packets to deal with, kids generally finish off on the way home. Thanks Team!
