Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F. Grease and line a small loaf tin with baking paper.
Whisk together milk, brown sugar and yoghurt in a bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix flours, dried figs and almonds, separating any clumps of fruit. Add rolled oats and all spices to the flour and fruit mixture. Stir in the milk mixture until it forms a thick batter.
Pour into the loaf tin and bake for 25 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
Cool the loaf, then freeze. Partially thaw before slicing thinly.
Preheat the oven to 120°C/250°F. Bake the slices for 50 minutes or until crisp.
